Water Main Break Leads To Route 9A Road Closure In Westchester

A stretch of Route 9A is closed in Greenburgh following a water main break in the area.

The Greenburgh Police Department issued an alert on Friday afternoon cautioning motorists that Route 9A (Saw Mill River Road) will be closed to northbound traffic between Worthington Road and White House Road due to the break.

Police said that the roadway is expected to be reopened no later than 4 p.m. as crews complete repair work. Local residents may experience a significant decrease in water pressure in their homes as crews work in the area.
